We've teamed up with content creator Roos-Anne Schreuders-Van Dorsten, also known as Moderosa, to create something special for her stunning wedding in Tuscany. Together, we designed two beautiful napkins, one of them became part of her unforgettable table setting during the wedding dinner.
We sat down with Roos to talk all about the magic of her wedding and our collab collection.
Your wedding looked absolutely stunning and took place over several days. Can you walk us through what those days looked like and how you planned them?
Our wedding weekend started with a relaxed pizza party. The theme was La Dolce Vita, and everyone wore a hat or headpiece – including us. It was laid-back and informal, the perfect way to ease into the festivities.
The next day was our official ceremony day. We held a beautifully styled ceremony full of flowers and flowing fabrics. After saying our vows, we enjoyed an atmospheric aperitivo, followed by a long, festive dinner at beautifully decorated tables. The styling was everything we’d dreamed of: floral arrangements mixed with vegetables and fruits, silver accents, mirrored stationery, and touches of deep bordeaux in the napkins, candles, and even aubergines.
I had a clear vision of how I wanted everything to look from the beginning. With the help of our wedding planner, ByEvievents, it all came to life exactly as we had hoped.

Looking back on your wedding, what’s the one moment that stands out the most to you?
The dinner was by far the most magical moment of the entire weekend. Everything was beautiful, but during the dinner, everything came together. The tables were set perfectly, overlooking the hills of Fossombrone. It was truly breathtaking.
Everyone looked amazing: the men wore tuxedos, and the women dressed in a beautiful color palette of browns and bordeaux tones, perfectly complementing the styling. The atmosphere was warm, joyful, and elegant, and the food was incredible. It was simply unforgettable.

The scalloped aubergine napkins were a perfect match for the table styling. What inspired the overall atmosphere and aesthetic of your wedding?
I really wanted fruits and vegetables, alongside flowers, to play a central role in our wedding styling. That theme started at the pizza party and flowed into the aperitivo and dinner.
For the dinner, we focused on bordeaux-toned fruits and vegetables, which worked beautifully with the rest of the decor. We chose bordeaux napkins to contrast with the white table linens, plates, and silver details. The bordeaux accents came back in the candles, fruits, and vegetables.
It felt festive and cohesive. Everything truly came together in one stylish whole.

What inspired the final design of the napkins, and how did you experience the design process?
At first, we considered a more classic white napkin with a bordeaux edge. But in the end, we decided to go for the version we used. It just suited us better, both Gianni and me, and it aligned more closely with Kulu Club’s aesthetic.
I think the final design really reflects a beautiful collaboration between our personal style and Kulu Club’s signature look.
The design process was super smooth. Our styles were so aligned that we needed very few words to communicate. The Kulu Club team immediately understood what I was envisioning. Every time I shared an idea, they came back with spot-on suggestions. That made the process not only easy and enjoyable but also led to a result we’re truly proud of.

Finally, what do you hope people will feel or experience when using these napkins at their own dinners or celebrations?
We created both a aubergine red and an olive green version of the napkin. Both bring warmth and atmosphere to the table, and they go with pretty much any tableware or tablecloth. They instantly make your table look styled and inviting.
Whether you’re having dinner with just the two of you, with your family, or hosting guests, a beautiful napkin truly makes a difference. I still notice it every time: as soon as I set the table with our napkins, everything looks instantly cozy and well put together.
I hope others will enjoy using them as much as we do, and that they’ll be part of many beautiful moments shared around the table.
